Richmond's 2025 boil water advisory
From January 6 to 11, 2025, Richmond and parts of Henrico, Hanover, and Goochland were under a boil water advisory after a storm knocked out power at the city's water plant. In a crisis like that, kitchen trailers brought in for the crisis still needed stairs, ramps, and a wastewater plan.
