What public records show for food service in New Madison
Past emergency
New Madison and DR-4777
FEMA has made 7 major disaster declarations for Darke County since 2000; the latest, DR-4777, tornadoes, was declared on May 2, 2024 after an incident that began March 14, 2024, and it covered New Madison. Tornado damage can leave a building's kitchen unusable while repairs are made. For a school, care home, or shelter in New Madison, that means cooking outside the building in a self-contained kitchen trailer until the inspection is passed.
Major construction
Planning around construction in New Madison
FEMA's Public Assistance records list no large road, water, or utility repair for Darke County since 2016. When construction near a hospital, school, or care home in New Madison cuts utilities or closes a kitchen in phases, a facility could lease a mobile kitchen trailer and a dishwashing trailer for the length of the work.
Major renovation
Kitchen renovations in New Madison
Remodeling a commercial kitchen in New Madison does not have to stop meal service: a kitchen trailer and a refrigerated trailer can run beside the building for the length of the job.
Emergency equipment access
Getting equipment to New Madison
Ohio is in FEMA Region 5, which coordinates federal disaster support with the state's emergency management agency; locally, Darke County emergency management leads response. Those public operations are separate from our rental deliveries. Projects in Ohio are outside our Virginia lead market and are quoted case by case, with delivery distance and timing set out in the quote. Equipment for New Madison would travel I-70 and local routes, as it would for nearby Wayne Lakes and Eldorado. We confirm the route and site access with you before dispatch.

Renovation plan: an assisted living community's kitchen in New Madison
A worked example of how we would plan temporary food service here, using New Madison's own public records and our current price list. It describes what a facility like this could do, not a job we have done.
1. Situation
Suppose an assisted living community's kitchen in New Madison schedules a 2-month renovation, replacing its exhaust hood and cooking line, while it keeps serving meals.2. Trailer setup
A 24ft Mobile Kitchen, and 12ft Refrigerated Trailer (Tier 1-4), set on a level pad close to the facility's power and water connections.3. Site and delivery
Equipment would travel the I-70 corridor, with the final route and gate access confirmed with the facility before dispatch. On arrival, the refrigerated unit is cold-ready in about an hour, and the kitchen trailer takes about 5 hours to connect and start up.4. Timeline
Lock in dates when the renovation contract is signed. The trailers arrive just before demolition and stay 2 months, through final inspection of the new kitchen.5. Estimated rental cost
24ft Mobile Kitchen $4,995 + 12ft Refrigerated Trailer (Tier 1-4) $1,895 = $6,890 per month on our starting price list, or about $13,780 for 2 months. Delivery, setup, and pickup are added in the quote. This is an estimate, not a quote.
