What public records show for food service in Glen Hope
Past emergency
FEMA's 2024 declaration for Clearfield County
The most recent federal disaster on record for Clearfield County, which includes Glen Hope is DR-4815, tropical storm debby, declared September 11, 2024. Clearfield County has had 5 major disaster declarations since 2000. Declared disasters like this can interrupt power, water, and road access to commercial kitchens. A refrigerated trailer can save the stock in a failed walk-in first, and a kitchen trailer can follow if the building in Glen Hope stays closed.
Major construction
Public works repair in Clearfield County
FEMA's Public Assistance program funded "Millstone Road" (roads and bridges, about $652,000) in Clearfield County after DR-4815, a tropical storm declared September 11, 2024; FEMA lists the project as eligible. When work like this reaches Glen Hope, a kitchen can lose water or power for a shift or a week, and trucks may need another way in. Long repair projects also bring crews who need to be fed, and a mobile kitchen trailer can serve them on site.
Major renovation
Kitchen renovations in Glen Hope
Cafeteria remodels, hospital kitchen rebuilds, and hotel renovations are planned months ahead. A facility in Glen Hope can schedule a temporary commercial kitchen for the work, sized to its menu, meal counts, and the electrical service on site, instead of closing its kitchen.
Emergency equipment access
Getting equipment to Glen Hope
Pennsylvania is in FEMA Region 3, which coordinates federal disaster support with the state's emergency management agency; locally, Clearfield County emergency management leads response. Those public operations are separate from our rental deliveries. Pennsylvania is on the East Coast within reach of our Virginia operations, and projects here are quoted case by case. Equipment for Glen Hope would travel I-76 and local routes, as it would for nearby Irvona and Coalport. We confirm the route and site access with you before dispatch.

Planning scenario · illustrative, not a past project
Renovation plan: a nursing home kitchen in Glen Hope
A worked example of how we would plan temporary food service here, using Glen Hope's own public records and our current price list. It describes what a facility like this could do, not a job we have done.
1. Situation
A nursing home kitchen in Glen Hope plans 3 months of work gutting the kitchen down to the slab and rebuilding it. Closing for the whole project is not an option, so food service moves outside.2. Trailer setup
A 24ft Mobile Kitchen, and 12ft Refrigerated Trailer (Tier 1-4), set on a level pad close to the facility's power and water connections.3. Site and delivery
Equipment would travel the I-76 corridor, with the final route and gate access confirmed with the facility before dispatch. Plan on roughly 5 hours from parking to cooking for the kitchen, about 1 hour for cold storage, and 4–6 hours more if a ramp is needed instead of stairs.4. Timeline
Lock in dates when the renovation contract is signed. The trailers arrive just before demolition and stay 3 months, through final inspection of the new kitchen.5. Estimated rental cost
24ft Mobile Kitchen $4,995 + 12ft Refrigerated Trailer (Tier 1-4) $1,895 = $6,890 per month on our starting price list, or about $20,670 for 3 months. Delivery, setup, and pickup are added in the quote. This is an estimate, not a quote.
